BLS CPR (Basic Life Support) -Most Requested by Employers/Schools

The AHA’s (American Heart Association) BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings. An American Heart Association BLS CPR certification (ecard) will be provided by email upon successful course completion and valid for 2 years.

Class Covers:

  • High quality CPR for adults, children and infants
  • The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components
  • How to provide high quality chest compressions
  • AED training using a simulator
  • Effective ventilations using a barrier device
  •  Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults, and infants.
  • Importance of teams in multirescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multirescuer CPR
